The Lenovo Legion Go is a strange handheld gaming PC that's worth buying, and it's only $550 on Prime Day.

The market needed a lot of innovation after the launch of Steam Deck, as handheld gaming devices such as the Acer Nitro Blaze 7 recently announced suggest. Lenovo is not one to be outdone. Its entry into the gaming market is both strange and genius. It's well worth picking up, especially with $150 off during Prime Day.
The Z1 Extreme chip, which is also found in the ROG Ally and Ally X, can run any game. It's a shame that the 2560 x 1680 resolution is too high, as it uses more power. If you want to play any intense games, you should consider lowering it to 1920 x 1280. Its native resolution is perfect for lighter indie games and may be the best way to enjoy them on any handheld device right now.

Lenovo Legion Go is a great gaming PC if you want a larger screen. It is less portable but it is still a fantastic machine for home use. The Switch-like control, which can be snapped on and off, allows you to play from a distance, despite the fact that it is heavy and large. The quirky controls are an extra cost at full price but, for $549, it feels like a bonus.
This 512 GB model gives you enough space to run most of the largest games. However, you may have to be more conservative if you plan to run storage behemoths such as Baldur's Gate 3 on your system. This storage can be manually upgraded with a 2230 SSD, if you need more games. You will however need some tech know-how and a screwdriver.
The Lenovo Legion may be a big machine, but there's still plenty to love.
