The second patch for Stalker 2 fixes a number of bugs that prevented players from progressing through missions.
GSC Game World released Patch 1.0.2 to Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl. It fixes bugs in six main missions which could prevent players from progressing further into the game.
All the problems, big and small, have been fixed in the missions On the Edge and A Minor Incident. The majority of them focus on situations where the player may have done things in an unexpected order or an NPC would spawn dead, or not at all.
In addition, more of those obnoxious EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION errors are fixed.
This patch follows the first one, released yesterday, with more than 650 fixes to Stalker 2 systems, quests and visuals. This patch also included fixes for teeth. We all know how important teeth were to Stalker 2 developers.

Stalker 2 is a mess, despite and because of its bugs. The 83% PC Gamer review called it "a beautiful, brilliant but busted Stalker, just like they used make."
Fraser Brown, from PC Gamer, wrote: "Stalker 2 has a huge following on Steam because it's a janky weirdo."
"Overall, it's an excellent result for a title that loves its rough edges and old school design sensibilities. We PC users would love it. Stalker may be a multiplatform game, but at its core, it's a pure computer game: complex, systematic and risky."
