This $150 Prime Day gaming screen deal is a great value but I'm also in love with another cheap gaming monitor for only $6.77 more.

" data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">No Prime membership required. Nope. You don't need to befriend Bezos to get a deal on a 1440p display. You don't need to be friends with Newegg+. Just give them $150 and you'll get a prime Gaming Monitor in return.
This is the cheapest 1440p monitor I've ever seen. It also doesn't have a paltry 75 Hz rate. You get a VA panel capable of 170 Hz and a minimum response time of 5 ms. VA panels have a better response time, and a better contrast and black level.
- Here's a list of all the October Prime Day PC Gaming deals!
Before you buy, it's worth considering the obvious budget features of the display. The stand is only tiltable, so there's no other adjustment possible. Secondly, it can only produce a maximum brightness of 250 nits. This is a pretty dim display in a well lit room. I would personally spend the extra $6.77 to get the ASRock below.
ASRock's gaming displays are always cheap. We love them for this. This 1440p panel provides a high resolution and rapid refresh rate, making it a powerful PC gaming combo. However, the built-in WiFI antenna makes it stand out. This is not essential, but it could be useful for some.

" data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">The Acer's budget issues are immediately gone as it has full height, tilt and swivel adjustments . It's also rated at a very bright 550 nits peak luminance. This will produce a very bright image, making the Acer appear dim.
It's only a few dollars more for something that can make a huge difference in the way you use your screen. If the ASRock is out of stock, there are other 1440p options that are cheaper.
